September 22, 2010 - Honoree - Jonathan Peachey - Mr. Peachey discussed Virgin's approach to building a global brand, forging valuable business alliances, and driving business as a force for good, as well as his own professional journey with Virgin. He joined Virgin in 1998 from Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in London, and has held various corporate development and investment management positions within Virgin Group. He moved to the U.S. in 2006 to support the development and launch of Virgin America, a new U.S. domestic airline that seeks to make flying good again.
June 23, 2010 - Honoree - Fred Teng - Mr. Teng has spent over a decade working in the financial industry, with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, and then with Oppenheimer & Co., he spearheaded the expansion of Oppenheimer's financial services into the Asia market. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of New York, Chairman of Diageo's Marketing Advisory Board, President of the Chinese Community Relations Council, and is a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. Mr. Teng was also appointed to the National Advisory Board of the Small Business Development Centers, and New York City's Minority Women Business Enterprise Advisory Board.
